- Traditional Village Sports form 2pm – 5.30pm- Entry by donation with Prizes for Best Royal Themed Float and Individual Fancy Dress
- Then…. Hog Roast and Disco in the Village Hall from 6.30pm – 12pm
- Entrance by ticket only – adult £5. Child under 16 free. Tickets from any Sports Committee member or Village Hall committee or contact Sue Martin on 898775 or Lyn dent 898507
- Each child, 18 and under, will be presented with a commemorative Jubilee Mug (available to collect on the Sports Field on the Day)

Great Salkeld village newsletter – ‘The Craic’. (Craic or crack is a term for fun, entertainment, and enjoyable conversation) A new Great Salkeld village newsletter, The Craic is almost ready to publish. If there is anything you would like to submit with a view to publication please email it to the COPY FILE (by clicking on the words COPY FILE you will go to a blank email to send) Please make sure to date the submission and give your own contact details. There will also be a hard-copy letter box set up shortly in the church for anyone wanting to submit typed or handwritten copy. All these submissions will need a date and a signature with your contact details. The newsletter will also always be made available to download from this website.
